You will love to have your own virtual office. It gives you the flexibility that you need, saves you money and provides the benefits of the Internet revolution.
It's a shame this project hasn't progressed much. Perhaps you should try actively seeking help on various forums, there are sure to be many people who'd like to complete this project with you.
